GVPA has established several committees that advise the Executive Board to ensure effective operation and to help address specific tasks:
Consists of a Chairperson and committee members who implement Article II of the By-laws, including reviewing member applications, proposing members to the Board, collecting dues, conducting outreach to expand GVPA membership, and proposing removing GVPA members if necessary.
Operates according to Article IV of the By-laws to manage the nomination and election process for Board positions.
It consists of a Chairperson and committee members who are responsible for recommending and arranging GVPA events for members and the community, including Continuing Education events.
It consists of a chairperson, newsletter writer, and committee members who organize and produce GVPA newsletters to share updates from the executive board, highlight members, and more.
It consists of a chairperson and committee members who oversees insurance matters, including liability and third-party payments, and conducts events to inform members about insurance matters.
This committee includes a chairperson and committee members who manage the website, social media, and other electronic media, ensuring accessibility and relevance to members interests.
It comprises two non-voting doctoral student chairpersons and student committee members who represent student interests, organize student events, and develop professional connections between students and GVPA members.
